Koakuma is a MMORPG game with immersive combat systems and mechanics within a graphics-intensive metaverse. Koakuma is a P2E Gamefi 2.0 project packed with lots to explore and earn and designed for users all around the world where players fight in epic battles using specially designed NFT assets. Players act as a witcher in the game and will acquire various digital assets as they proceed through the Koakuma metaworld. The game is unique with various features that will ensure long term gameplay participation with legendary equipment, mysterious dungeons, ancient treasures, discoveries and challenges throughout.
We see Koakuma as a long term project and it's very important for us to sustain and grow its user base. To ensure this, we made sure to partner with the right people that share our vision and also have a track record in working on projects like ours. We are strategic in our partnerships. We handpick the KOLs we work with to make sure they pass our standards and have the audience we want to target. We are doing a localized approach in terms of promoting the game in TG groups.
We started setting up local communities such as Discord, Twitter, Medium and more to get future players to talk and get excited about the game. Before IDO, we will have two campaigns for initial players. These campaigns will give away our whitelist and limited edition NFTs which can be used in our game. Besides campaigns, we also have several rounds of giveaways to attract more players.
Although the P2E industry has grown significantly in the past 2 years, there’s still a lack of enticing games with immersive combat systems in the blockchain. The majority of the P2E games don't appeal to traditional gamers because of its unchallenging gameplay system. One of Koakuma’s goals is to set a new standard for Play to Earn games, improve the gameplay and guarantee an immersive combat system that is expected from traditional games. Koakuma went through several iterations to make its quality at par with game classics like Diablo and Hades.
One avenue that Koakuma is thinking about diving into is Esport, and for obvious reasons. The League of Legends World Championships in 2020 brought in around 3.8 million viewers, and NewZoo has predicted that the E-sport industry will be valued at $1.8 billion this year.
Attracting and keeping the attention of traditional gamers remains a challenge for blockchain game developers. Most projects focus on earning and not enough on the playing side. We believe that exploring esports will attract our target audience of loyal traditional gamers by providing fun and exciting ways for them to participate in or stream the game.
$KKMA is our ERC-20 governance token that can be purchased in exchanges. KKMA can be used to join the game’s governance and vote on the game’s development, new content and to determine the future of Koakuma. It can also be used for staking,
$BOD (Blood Of Devil) is the secondary token of Koakuma. This is the in-game currency similar to any other in-game currency from a traditional game. BOD is not available in the market. The players earn $BOD through daily rewards, by exploring and conquering the dungeons and defeating the enemies and when players level up. BOD is the currency that will be given to players who complete daily tasks.
Koakuma team will set a daily limit of the number of $BOD that a player can trade to $KKMA. And at the same time, $BOD will be burned occasionally or when needed to maintain its market price.
NFT and Token sales are responsible for sustaining Koakuma’s Ecosystem. There will also be marketplace transaction fees, where the platform charges a 5% fee. 95% of the revenue will be placed into mining rewards and the DAO will vote on its future usage. All items acquired in-game are NFTs, and they can be traded in the in-game auction house or in exchanges.
